Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

This policy explains what data LandEvaluationDR (“we”) collects when you use this site, what we use it for, who we share it with and what rights you have over it. It applies to landevaluationindr.com and tasacionesinmobiliariasenrd.com, which are the same service in two languages.

We process your data in accordance with Law No. 172-13 on the Protection of Personal Data of the Dominican Republic.

1. What data we collect

When you create an account

  • Your email address.
  • Your password, which we store irreversibly hashed. Nobody, including us, can read it.
  • If you sign in with Google, Google gives us your email and an identifier for your Google account. We do not receive your Google password.
  • The IP address you registered from, the approximate country derived from it, and the language of the site you were using.

When you use the site

  • The pages you visit, the date and time, your IP address, the page you came from and your browser and device type. If you are signed in, we associate this with your account.
  • Each time you sign in we store the IP address and browser of that session, so we can keep it open and close it.

When you request a valuation

  • The property's location: coordinates, address, province, city and sector.
  • The property details you give us: property type, condition, quality, bedrooms, bathrooms, parking spaces, floor, whether it is a corner lot, year built, and any notes you write.
  • The estimated value the model calculates and the valuation document generated, which we keep so you can download it again.

When you pay

Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe and they never reach our servers. For each payment we keep the plan, the amount, the currency, the date and the identifiers Stripe assigns to the customer, the subscription and the transaction.

When you write to us

  • If you ask for an appraiser to contact you, we receive your full name, email, phone number and country.
  • If you send us feedback, we receive the message, the page you sent it from and your email.

When you use “Follow me”

The Follow me feature only reads your location if you turn it on and your browser asks for your permission. Your position is processed in your own browser to centre the map and, to show you the street and sector name, your browser sends it to OpenStreetMap (Nominatim). We do not store your location unless you choose to continue and request a valuation of that spot.

Referral programme

If you arrive through the link of someone in our referral programme, we record that they brought you and the date you registered. That person can see on their dashboard a partially hidden version of your email (for example, an••••z@gmail.com), the date you registered, whether you have made a payment and the amount of their commission. They cannot see your full email or any other data about you.

2. What we use your data for

  • Giving you access to your account and keeping you signed in.
  • Calculating your valuations, generating their documents and keeping them for you.
  • Charging for your plans and keeping track of your credits and the zones you have opened.
  • Sending you the emails the service needs, such as confirmation codes or password resets.
  • Answering your requests and feedback, and putting you in touch with an appraiser if you ask.
  • Calculating referral programme commissions.
  • Protecting the site against abuse and automated access, and understanding how it is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal data or hand it to third parties for their own advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We use providers that process data on our behalf, only to deliver the service:

  • Amazon Web Services: hosting the site and the database.
  • Stripe: payment processing.
  • Google: sign-in with Google, maps and Street View, and measuring advertising campaigns (the Google tag).
  • OpenStreetMap: the base map and looking up an address from a point on the map.
  • Our email provider: sending the service's emails.

We may also disclose data when the law or a competent authority requires it.

4. Cookies

  • Session: keeps you signed in. It is needed to use your account.
  • Language: remembers the language you chose.
  • Referral: if you arrived through a referral link, remembers for 60 days who invited you, so they can be credited if you register.
  • Google: the Google tag sets its own cookies to measure how well our ads perform.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser; if you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in.

5. Property listing data

Our model is trained on listings published openly on real estate portals. Those listings may include the name and phone number of the agent or agency that published them. We use that information to estimate prices and, in some reports, to show which agents have properties in the area. If you are one of those agents and would like us not to show your details, write to us through the Feedback button on any page of the site, giving the email address you registered with .

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account data, your valuations and their documents for as long as your account exists. We keep payment records for as long as accounting and tax obligations require. When you ask for your account to be deleted, we will delete or anonymise your personal data, except what the law obliges us to keep.

7. Your rights

Under Law No. 172-13 you may, at any time:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify it if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask for it to be deleted, including deleting your account.
  • Object to a particular use of it.

To exercise them, write to us through the Feedback button on any page of the site, giving the email address you registered with . We will reply within the time limits the law sets. We may ask you to confirm you own the account before acting.

8. Security

All traffic to the site is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are stored irreversibly hashed and access to the data is restricted. No system is completely invulnerable, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Minors

The service is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a significant way, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know by email or on the site.
